Ebony Combs is a native Oklahoman, residing in Mansfield, TX. She’s a blogger, motivational speaker, single mothers life coach and writer, who currently contributes to Women’s Elevation magazine. Her wide-ranging life experiences helped develop her passion of inspiring women. After a nationwide search, Ebony was chosen one of six women to become the first-ever ambassadors for My Black is Beautiful (MBIB)—a Procter & Gamble initiative designed to empower and motivate Black women. Through her work as an MBIB ambassador, Ebony has appeared in a number of publications, including O, The Oprah Magazine, EBONY, Essence and Uptown magazines. She has also been a guest on The Radio Therapy Network on Radio Therapy with Terrance J, Divas & Dorks and Cocktails with Mom.
As the single mother of a vivacious daughter, Zari, Ebony knows first-hand the struggles of overcoming adversity and has most-resiliently done so. Best known for her tell-it-like-it is approach to life, the self-proclaimed women’s empowerment advocate is creator and chief executive officer of iamebony.com where she chronicles the highs and lows of her journey through her digital “mommy diary.” Her message? To be totally transparent with yourself and the world in order to inspire true healing, restoration and inspiration a process she calls seeing yourself NAKED!
A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Ebony holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership—Higher Education and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and Human Resources. She’s a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
