If you looked into my life would you believe who I be/Even I’m not quite too sure as I am discovering me/ Life has afforded me passion and pain/dreams accomplished and some yet to name/ Imagining places far beyond sight/ This is the reason/This is the reason I write.
Kitara Bingham was born and raised in Harlem, NY surrounded by her amazingly awesome family and friends. She currently makes her home in Wilmington, DE with her daughter. She is licensed Social Worker and has spent the last 13 years assisting children, teens, women and families in tapping into life’s transformative possibilities through creative counseling techniques. Her experiences as a Social Worker have been both humbling and inspiring as the lives she’s touched do not compare to how she’s been touched by others. She is an avid learner and takes every opportunity to grow as a person even if it’s through experiential lessons of her daily decisions and choices.
Kitara has reached an exciting time in her life where she is living unapologetically. No longer does she hide behind what has been, instead she recognizes the power and importance of living authentically and with integrity in actions and choices. With her stories, tools and techniques she has learned how to journey through life with real radiance. When she’s not working at helping others transform their lives, you can likely find her in the kitchen cooking up delectable delights. For Kitara, life is just one yummy moment at a time.
